About

I believe a desire for justice and an end to suffering is a core human ache that most of us share.

The problem is, the scope, gravity, and complexity of the systems that cause injustice in our country and the world require countless hours of research and study to understand, something most folks don’t have time to do, often exactly because of the inequality present in our country.

This is why I’ve created this site and podcast. I will seek to summarize and explain (in real terms, not policy wonk lingo), with strong leaning on experts, specifically how certain realities of injustice have come to pass and, crucially, very specific ways that we can all - in our very limited time and energy - do something about it. I will mainly advocate, across all issues, that we can most effectively bring about change by electing better leaders and pushing them to fight injustice on our behalf - as they are meant to do.

Toil is the theme of this podcast because it is both what is required and what we owe others if we have been lucky enough to live a life of fortune. Our purpose in this life is not to pursue our own happiness, but rather the happiness of all people: an end to human suffering. This will require great toiling from all of us.
